Sara from BC writes: "...Hi Chris, I would like to submitThe Ugliest Demon/Alien Kitty in the Known World. I was travelling from Montreal to Victoria, taking the long way and stopped in Saskatoon (!) at my roommate's brother's house for the night. All through the night I was having this REALLY VIVID dream: This ancient grizzled Quebecois gas station attendant that I had run into in the Gatineaus a few days earlier was wheezing and nibbling and chewing and coughing up flem into my ear all night and he wouldn't go away. Finally, in the early hours of the morning, he sneezed all over my face and I woke up. I am not sure if you can truly appreciate my reaction when I woke up to this on my pillow. Rocky is so ugly, my camera wouldn't even focus at first. His owner loves him. I disinfected my entire head in the morning. SARA, Victoria
Marlana from the US writes:"...My dog Buffy is half German Shepherd and half something else. She recently jumped off my parent's bed and tore her ACL and had to have surgery. After we got to take her home, I noticed that they cut all the hair off her toes! She used to have very furry toes...and they shaved them! Why would they need to do that to do surgery on her upper leg!? It makes no sense, and it makes me cry on the inside."
Wendy from CANADA writes:"...Hi Chris, Today we took my cats to the vet for their booster shots. The vet office has a resident cat named Finnegan. Finnegan has the best disposition and gets along with all the clients' pets. Our compassionate vet rescued him from an uncertain future in a shelter and brought him to the veterinary office which is now his home."
Kevin in ALBERTA writes: "This is my cousin dog 'Pally'. Pally was left blind after being run over on the gravel road that runs in front of the homestead. Yes, his appearance is alarming, but he has a heart of gold and a lively step and I think he's still cute." MORE ABOUT PALLY HERE.
Paige from PENNSYLVANIA writes:"...My cat Max is as you can see deformed, he and all of his brothers and sisters have cleft nostrils. That means instead of his nose being normal and sticking out its pushed in against his face. His breathing is ok and he's even more playfull than our other 'normal' cat, Princess."
