"...I have been working at the Berkshire Humane Society since I was 16 years old. We are located in Pittsfield, MA, part of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. When I am not at school at Wheaton College out near Boston, I work in the kennel, training dogs and preparing them to get adopted back out to the public. I am in school to become an animal behaviorist.

Buddy was brought to us by the animal control officer because he was found on the side of the road struck by a car. His pelvis was shattered and he had a broken front leg which was in a cast for a while. We kept him at the shelter and nursed him back to full health until he was ready to be adopted out. He was adopted by a family and is doing well."
