You may remember Johnny. He and his family foster orphaned birds. He sent along these new pics of ICARUS the Cormorant. Icarus was rehabilitated, and then one day, flew off for a brand new life.

At first I thought Johnny was cute but Icarus was not-cute. Now I'm convinced that Icarus is beautiful. And cute.

I *love* whn we get to see follow-ups. This Icarus, I believe, will be smarter than his namesake and live a good, long, not so heat-intensive life.

That would be "when" we get to see follow-ups. I am less smarterer than Icarus, and he has no proper thumbs.

I don't know if that was particularly cute, but definitely interesting.
Of course, Interesting with Chris doesn't quite have the same ring to it, so yeah, hey, it's cute.

Those are great photo's!
I like cormorants too. One time I spotted a cormorant from the train and was so excited (because they weren't all that comon here back then, I'd only ever seen them in the zoo) that I told the guy standing next to me, I guess he must've thought I was weird.

awesome! I've never seen a bird walk on the bottom of a lake before - not even on Discovery. That was surely cool. Can we get more info on what Johnny's been up to? lol

Keep 'em flying *and* swimming Johnny.

Thanks for the comments guys. That was in Lake Michigan, before we went I got an underwater camera case for my camera thinking I could take some underwater picture of Icarus, it worked pretty well.
