Dear Chris: I used to think your show was good but I can no longer stomach it. I do not see why you need to show handicapped animals. You are making fun of them. The kitten from your last show with one large eye and one small eye was very distasteful and I prefer you to show animals that are actually cute as you suggest in the name of your show which has the word "cute" in it. Personally, I like seeing pictures of maimed pets.

Whenever I'm feeling blue I come to this site and it is a quick reminder that as bad as things are at least I'm not a kitten with a funky eye or a dog with no eyes!!!!

Their suffering helps my spirit soar.

My best friend's grandmother had glaucoma, and yes, as a human, had very large eyes. It's a serious disease, and no, you can't just pay to have it fixed. It's what they test for when they blow that puff of air on your eye in your eye exam. It's also very painful.

And food for thought, maybe Chris is making fun how our culture's concept of cute, not the animals. What if human amputees were the sexiest, cutest things in our culture's aesthetic ranking system? Beauty and shades of it, including cute and sexy, are relative. I mean, we don't like fat ladies anymore...like a few hundred years ago.

Rip 'em new assholes, Chris. Keep the dialogue going. Hell yeah.

I like the way Chris does the show - the sarcasm, the amusing responses to negative comments, and yes, the not-so-perfect pets. If the show was purely pics of cute and adorable 'normal' puppies and kittens, and Chris just spent his time introducing them, like "this is Fluffy, she's pretty" half of the viewers probably wouldn't watch and I'm sure Chris would have killed himself with the boredom!

I..Personally don't think Chris is making fun of the animals with "issues". I mean, him showing abandoned animals in shelters is trying to find them a home, NOT making fun of them. Why does showing something disabled on a show automatically mean that it's making fun of them? It's today's media, the only time disabled people get on the air is if they have some sort of act or they're being made fun of. Well, I hope Christ sticks with the new way the show is headed!

I'm so glad that Chris shows pictures of the not-perfect animals! While it can be difficult to see animals with disabilities, it's important to remember that everybody is different. Kiri doesn't look like most cats, but that doesn't make her ugly. Georgette, I'm sorry you don't appreciate Kiri's looks, but remember she's just as much cat as any other kitty!

Chris is showing the other sides of cute, not making fun of them! He's showing the truth behind owning a pet which I extremly support! People today get a pet and don't even think about the fact that they have to -gasp- clean up after it! or that someday it may -gasp- not be as cute as they day you got it! Georgette is and everyone like her is just a dumbshit and will probobly abandond their animals once they hit 8 years old or so and stop being puppy like.
