that photo is really scarey--that's what my high school yearbook photo looked like in senior year--minus the cat and glasses.
story was nice...

the most endearing, tragic love story i've ever heard!

Amazing how an oval mat with gold trim, can turn Sears Portrait Studio, into formal beauty!!
I LOVE IT!

My version of the story:
This woman "Verna" is really a COMIC GENIUS!!
She has thousands of these photos of her and her cat in all sizes! She brings them to thrift shops and Goodwills everywhere, knowing that poor saps imagining a tragic story will buy them. She is home laughing her BEEP off, because her crazy cat photo is hanging in homes EVERYWHERE!!!!

This cat cracks me up! Look at it's eyes! They're like, flat on top! He's just like -_- "Why me?"
The funny part is the cats so depressed that he just sits there and lets them take pics!
Awesome story, by the way!

That was heartwarming. R.I.P. Verna, Evelyn, and Snowbell. Your memory lives forever at CWC.

For some reason that story made me sad even though the lady in the pictures scares me. Also, I think I'm in love with Justin.

Awww, how touchingly sad :( Poor Verna...
Excellent tale! *clap* I hope Chris mentions it on the show LOL

Justin is awesome... and kinda weird! Such a nice story!

That's great! I used to work at a flea market, and it was kind of depressing to sell the possessions of dead people to soon-to-be-dead people. I better arrange when I die to have all my pets' portraits and belongings and things piled in a tomb with me like the Egyptians did-everything I need for the afterlife. ;)

It is glaringly clear to me that "Verna" is a man. Look again and tell me you disagree...

What's disturbing me a little is that there is apparently competition for the thrift-store pictures of unknown, crazy cat ladies. Is this a common thing to collect? Or was somebody else just after the frame?
I do frame and display pictures of cats I have never met that people send me in their Christmas newsletters -- it seems like a good way to sublimate my stalking tendencies -- with subjects that can't press charges.

Justin (the guy who sent in the photo)...
...you have a beautiful soul, and I know 'Verna' is smiling down from heaven on you.
