When I was a true teen, I'm now a 45teen crazy cat lady, I had a male cat named Samanatha (called after the discovery Sam) who happened to be a son of Geraldine who was also male (called Gerald after the discovery).

I had a male guinea pig named Lillian. He was a freaking spazz and only lived about nine months. I think he was mentally challenged.

I have a cat (girl) that came named Sid (for Sidney Poitier). She has been re-christened Cyd and doesn't seem to mind. Either way.
