Jesus Farking Christ dampin our spirits much? Poor lil bugger.

him

Poor, cute little fox food.

Marylee

There's something to be said for the fact that it's old. That means it's survived both blind and deaf in the wild without being (as 'him' would put it) fox food.

And if he ended up on CWC how would he know? If he's blind and deaf he probably has no interest in the squirrel internet. Poor little guy.

Hopefully your presence made his day a little happier.

Joel

I too, am amazed that the poor thing survived this long. I hope you gave him a nice snack or two. When I'm old, deaf and blind I hope someone treats me kindly too.

AngieAreI

That's so sad !

Awww! I like that it's lived such a long life! Cute, deaf, blind squirrel like that. I hope it has had lots of tasty nuts and fun adventures in its time and that it's perfectly happy being old and messed up like I will be someday :P

Sarah aka KB

Poor ickle deformed squirrel. Is it deaf and blind etc cos of its age, or born that way? How you're meant to know that I'm not sure...

Maybe it's a secret ninja squirrel, trained not to rely on sight and sound, and will rip out the throat of evil villainous predators in two seconds flat... this hobbling around lark is just an act, that must be it!

Modrocker

I saw a squirrel the other day that must have had neurological issues. The poor thing would be fine one minute and then jump uncontrollably for a few seconds. In a way it looked like it was frollicking through the grass but of course I knew that wasn't the case (especially when it tried to climb a tree). I had to look away.

Oh! The poor baby. I want to go take a drive up to Michigan and see this little guy. And give him some treats. ): I feel so bad. Ugh. My compassion for animals is insane and can drive me crazy. I'm nearly in tears for this little sweetie. I hope his life is better than the average seeing, hearing, "normal" looking squirrel out there. <3

"one of the best parts was seeing this poor deformed squirrel"
Well, I see you're taking delight in the misery of others.
So, did you leave the squirrel as it was, or did you take it home to care for me.

Megan, do you have shit for brains? This is NOT CUTE.

c h r i s s y

I probably would have taken the damn thing home to care for it until it died! They can't live that long, can they? I at least would have fed him...I wonder how he finds food...I guess with his little sniffer. Poor little fellow!! It's interesting that he sustained an injury (perhaps) but was able to heal himself up like that...or whatever.
