Seems weird to me to name your black pets after a black person. Though maybe I'm just assuming these are white pet owners? Or maybe I've been watching too many reruns of Extras (season 1...The show with Samuel L. Jackson...).

am i the only one who can tell that this picture has been photoshopped? lol. maybe. i dunno. lol. but all i know is that the bow was obviously taken from another picture. it doesnt look real.
My cat is named after one of my heroes, the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. It just so happens that, like her namesake, she is black. Her tummy is white, not that it matters. Don't hate -- appreciate!
Clearly, I am not a Photoshop pro ... I whipped it up on a lark. I hope it makes you smile ... I got a kick out of it.
My cat is black and named Zora - I think my kids named her after some video game, but personally, she is named after Zora Neale Hurston, the black writer. What's wrong with naming your black pets after black people?
Omg, that's hysterical.
I have a friend with a black lab named Oprah.

Thanks for stating the obvious Amanda. I hope Ally read it and finally got the reference. :) Bad quality picture, funny story though.

The original photo was much better. The quality problem is my doing. Sorry, Aretha.
