She's adorable! I say yes!

stevie

I vote for Shannon!

Kelly

Best applicant thus far!!!

SmilinSweetpea

Ooo! Pick her! Pick her! She's well spoken (unusual for youth these days, sadly), polite (see previous comment), can spell, is socially conscious and does something about it,has adorable pics of adorable shelter animals that needs homes, and most of all, *she's* adorable! You gotta pick her, Chris!

Lauren

She is great!! I agree with smilinsweetpea. The first thing I thought is how well spoken she is for 11. You have to pick her.

Jenni

Oh, I vote for her as well. She can spell and speak English, so those are plusses.

Gabrielle

WHAT!
Mine is just like this except I'm 15.
What the heckkkkk ughhhhhh.
I'm even wearing my SPCA tshirt right now. I volunteer at the local SPCA and have a very good camera.

Biased towards the younger one. :(

Gabrielle

Eww triple post, what the heck.

Bethany

She has my vote ^_^

leslie

my vote goes for her too!

cee

She's 11 years old, articulate and cares about the world, chosse her!!!! How many 11 years olds would want to take this on?

X

Not only is she polite, articulate, socially conscious, AND has a grasp of spelling and grammar (all of the above sadly rare in many kids), but she would win the Cute Down hands down every time.

A++ application!

Courtney in Arkansas

I vote for her, besides Chris...you have been slacking in the cute adoptables lately.

Russell

I know she's not exactly breaking out of the "cute" regime, but, like with everyone else, Shannon gets my vote.

maggie

she's cute, sure...but i see a glint of pure evil behind that winning smile.

Kratz

Oh my god, Chris, you HAVE to let her.

Plus she has vacant-eyed kittens under her control already. You better make her your ally before she sics her army on you.

stevie

I vote for you also! how brave an 11 year old girl is to be a guest editor on CWC -- I hope you get the job chica and I wish my stepsister (your same age) had the same courage!

Also, it's so rad to volunteer like that! Good luck!

Alexandria

Please pick her!!! At least with her we can count out topless necklace pics and know that someone is doing some real good out there !!!

c h r i s s y

She's super cute but am I the only one that doesn't think she typed the letter herself? Not saying she didn't think of the words necessarily...but the actual typing...would be quite impressive for a kid. :) Either way, still cute.

leigh

YES for Shannon

NO for boobs!

Shannon- you are PURReciousness PURRsonified. Good for you to volunteer at a kitty rescue. I taught 10 and 11 year old students for many years. I fear for your sweet innocence as the next CWC Guest Editor. Will the comments be censored with an 11 year old editor? Some of Chris' fans have a real problem with anyone other than Chris posting to this blog. They can be rather scary and I'm not sure that will be good for your 11 year old psyche. PURRsonally I would love to see what you would have to offer! As Chris always says... Children are our future!

kstraw12

Chrissy - Do you know anything about 11 year old girls? There are many who can type a letter like this at that age! I had poetry published in a journal at age 12.

M'Lord - this is exactly the kind of child that looks at your website and does not need to see attention-seeker boobs. She is a ROLE model, not a Penthouse-model-in-the-making. (Seriously, who did Rachel think would buy the necklaces with no shirt on? Women?)

James

I vote for her as well, and carm, if people post uncensored things at this adorable 11 year old, we can always tear them a new one as a community:) Power to the cult!
