MICHELLE: Rescue Dog

Almost one year ago today, Michelle in OTTAWA sent this picture of a homeless puppy found frozen to the ground on a minus 32 degree Canadian sidewalk.  I don't know if you've been to Ottawa in January but it's cold. Damn cold. Michelle works at the Ottawa Humane Society, and she's been a regular contributor to CWC for several years now. That's why I've chosen her as my latest GUEST EDITOR. I've emailed her her very own password and username to the site and she will be posting her stories all week long. This puppy's name is "Reese", and he was found alone and abandoned. That's not the worst part. It was so cold, his balls were frozen to the sidewalk. She sent a second picture. Click here if you'd like to see a puppy's frozen nutsac. Amy from ILLINOIS writes: "...Dear Chris, My friends surprised me with a Pervy the Horse 'Hit That Donut' T-shirt for my 17th birthday! I wore it to our church Christmas party. This is a picture of me and my friend Margaret (who got me the shirt) and our gingerbread house. Our theme was the Salem Witch Trials. We came in 4th place!"

Blender Moose

Della from ONTARIO writes: "...Hi Chris, my husband John is recently retired from working for the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) and still receives emails from them.  The OPP in Timmins, Ontario sent him these pictures of some local moose.  Have you ever seen an albino moose before? Hi Quality

Jenny from OREGON writes: "...Hi Chris: I work at an animal emergency center in Oregon as a technician and one night a very young couple brought in an injured little pup. After hours of questioning and trying to save the pups life it was found out that a man had beat this pup almost to death. At this point the police were called and the man was arrested. Clyde sustained major injuries such  as a collapsed lung, chest full of blood from bruising of his lungs, choke bruises around his throat and cuts on his head. He was in ICU on oxygen for 2 days and made a full recovery. Not to mention a new home in my house. Jenny, OREGON. Death Hamster

Rachelq 17teen writes: "...Hi Chris, This is a picture of me and my hamster Ampersand (or & for short) right after I gave her a bath. I now know that you are not supposed to bathe rodents, as it can cause them to catch a chill and die. It would be so sad if she had risked her life for the sake of cute and nobody got to see it. Teen Life

Jackie 17, and Ashley 18 from NEW MEXICO write: "Hi Chris! Teen life is boring. To fight our boredom we go to Best Buy and play around on the Mac computers. This is a picture of us at Best Buy. Don't we look bored? We found a few sound clips from your show on the Mac and we started freaking out.  And we got crazy stares from a lot of random bystanders.  And we attracted the attention of a very nice lady in a business-suit with Direct TV on her nametag.
