Oof. My hamster Percy pulled a Houdini like that once. I was pretty sure my cat had eaten her, but she showed up several days later and was mostly ok.
(I named my female hamster Percy because the pet store told me she was a male and I believed them until she popped out three babies about a week later.)

I love his bright pink feet and nose!
What happened on his AWOL week? Did the stegosaurus try to eat him?

One of my hamsters went missing for 3 wks before we found her in the sump pump in the basement. She never made a full recovery. Better luck w/ this - maybe the sudden celebrity will perk him up.

After seeing the picture and reading the post only one thing comes to mind. Where does the pencil go?? No, wait - I've changed my mind. I don't think I really need to know the answer.
