Amanda from OREGON writes: "...Dear Chris, As a preschool teacher I get a lot of mail. Once I got a catalogue from which you could order frozen cat carcasses for dissection. Hmm, nice. I got this post card today. The description on the back reads: " Fabulous Bear tells the story of a young Bear named Timothy who meets a puppy while on an errand for his father. The frisky puppy causes conflict between Timothy and his father and threatens all hope for the future."
If the 'puppy' looks like that, no wonder the the future is in peril. That's an End-of-Days looking puppy if I ever saw one.

I think that's the bear. It sounds brilliant though. I think you should go and see it.

Fabulous Bear sounds like it would involve a lot more feather boas than it appears to. I demand Plaid shirts with jewels and/or glitter on them. Oh we're not talking about that kind of a Fabulous Bear? My bad...

I just had to Google this, and what do you know:

It's a theater in Portland dedicated to puppet shows. Some of the puppets look quite creepy. Tears of Fear presents Fabulous Nightmares! O_O

Just had to comment and say, i was looking at the website for the Salem, OR library today to renew my books and saw an ad for the Tears of Joy puppets featuring a very creepy bat puppet and thought "Oh dear god in heaven what is that?" and now I see more of these crochet puppets on CWC. I suspect conspiracy.
