Teens...

You may remember Lauren and Ryan from Vancouver. They were the first Canadian teens to line up at the door of the theatre here in VICTORIA. I just want to tell them that I lined up to see David Bowie in EDMONTON when I was their age. It was a shitload of work to wait in line and scream and clap for him, and I'm pretty sure he didn't even notice. Thanks kids, it was nice to have you here in the front row.

...but unfortunately.

Tanie writes: "...Dear Chris, I just wanted to let you know that my husband Taylor and I had a great time at both Cute With Chris Live and The Chris Leavins Story Hour this weekend. It was great to meet you after the show on Saturday night but UNFORTUNATELY Taylor is unskilled at using my camera because the pictures he took are terrible. I definitely wouldn't want you to post them on your website but I thought you might get a chuckle out of them."

Carrie in BC has sent me many hilarious pics over the years like this recent Formal Family Portrait. She also sent me a pic of her dog driving her dirt bike. For some reason I can't find it. If I remember correctly, I think her dog lost the cutedown to a pair of gloves. Fucking asshole gloves. She writes: "Chris, Loved the show! These are mine and  Kristen's crazy CCL faces. We took 'em when you were talking to other people. "

Diane in Victoria writes: "Hi Chris...I've attached a few pics from the venue. One shows the lineup outside of the theatre at 6:00PM. Another shows the lineup at 6:30. It really did stretch down the block. I also attached a couple of my daughter Hayley with her I (heart) Pervy shirt that we had made specially for the show."

Ylva from VICTORIA writes: "...hi chris, i live in victoria, will be at your show and thought you might like a photo or two of my shih tzu. the last attachments are xrays of sayla v (formerly seen on the blue garden swing) with a bad case of gas. if you get gas as a small dog in victoria, apparently it is a $343 veterinary event.. i asked for the x ray as a momento. ylva

Thank you so much to everyone who traveled to Victoria this week to see the stage version of this weird little piece of the internet we call Cute with Chris. I'm in rehearsals all day, and I'm not sure there's internet signal at the theatre, so posts may be sporadic, but I'm really excited. It is an honor and a thrill to be here. I spoke to the tech crew at the space today. We talked strategy, and we look forward to blowing your minds. xo C.

Rone in FLORIDA writes: "...The attached pictures are of my cat, Melvin.  He was born with a congenital defect known as primordial dwarfism.  So basically, he'll never get any bigger than 3 pounds. Today he lost a tooth and now he won't eat his food from a plate.  So, like a little baby, he's getting fed with a syringe.  He loves the syringe.  I've also attached pictures of him getting the bath after he ate because he can't seem to keep the damned food in his mouth.  He's not smart enough to keep the food from oozing from the side of his mouth."
