I had a very long day of travel. My flight out of LA was delayed an hour because of a clogged toilet (?), and then I missed my connecting flight out of Calgary which meant I was delayed three hours more. The whole thing was made much more pleasant by the 21 Canadian teens I met at the Los Angeles airport. They were in California for the girls' field hockey championship. Courtney from DUNCAN BC had The Chris Leavins Story Hour on her iPod. (Can you send me that picture we took Courtney? Mine didn't turn out.) I'm settling in to watch the CBC news on TV. Ahh... such reasoned, sensible, high-minded journalism. Oh how I've missed you.
