Did you see this at the Detroit Institute of Arts? My cousin just posted a picture of herself in front of this painting on Facebook. She said when she saw it she couldn't stop laughing! I saw something about this artist though, his work is very interesting. He puts modern day black men in classic art settings. I wish I could remember his name. Does anybody out there know?
Looking at his website, he seems to have a great deal of talent. That being said, my first thought on seeing that pic was "Which of Sadaam's palaces did that come out of?"
There was an artist with similar work, that was hanging in the Columbus Museum of Art [in Ohio]. I would've taken pictures the last time I went, but I don't think you are allowed to.

Kehinde Wiley is the artist and for all those laughing you may want to take a look at his website - his art is fully legit and amazing.
