Cecilia in IOWA writes: "...Hey Chris, I was at a used book store the other day and I picked up this cat book by T.S. Eliot. Low and behold when I opened to the inside cover I find a little note from one CCL to another. And the signature . . . could that be warped to spell Carm?! In my world yes. But to dash my own dreams It probably says Cam and it may very well be a crazy cat guy who has a crazy cat girlfriend. Or who knows, crazy cat lesbians?! The possibilities are endless!"
Cam is a man's name.

But Cam Jansen was a girl. I remember reading her adventures when I was a kid!
Still, I hope it says Carm and that it's our Carm.

The artwork on the front is done by my favorite artist Edward Gorey!
He was a crazy cat man.

I have this book, also! It is so much fun to read out loud that I used to read it to my daughter when she was a baby. She is now 5, absolutely loves books and is reading pretty well herself. Coincidence? I think not!
(Oh--I see "Carm" in that signature, also. I hope it's her! Although how rude to give away such a gem!)
