Tova in FLORIDA writes: "...Dear Chris, To investigate a scratching noise, my sister & her fiance' put a night vision camera in their attic. Within moments, the whiskers of raccoon could be seen checking out the lens. Also discovered were 5 newborn baby raccoons..." MORE HERE.
Adorable!

The babies are too cute. The adults are evil......they try to fish in my back yard pond!

Really? Vomitting?
I wouldn't go so far as to say those things are cute, but they're not so hideously deformed that they induce vomitting.

Please turn them over to wildlife rehabilitators. Back in the day, you could buy baby raccoons from the Florida pet trade. My sister owned one name "Boca Raccoon" he was a great pet until he matured. (She bottle fed Boca). Adult raccoons are amazingly strong & can be very aggressive. When she gave him up, Boca stood about 2 1/2 feet on his hind legs and was capable of ripping your hand off. In hindsight, it was very cruel of her to buy him.

I've never seen a baby racoon before, didn't even recognise what it was.
But they are very cute, they look like puppies...Or meerkats actually.

Rawr -
I submitted these pics and even I don't like adult raccoons. My friend's mom was attacked by one while sweeping out her garage. She tried to "shoo" it with her broom, but it bit her leg, landing her in the hospital for over a week (the bacteria from it's nasty teeth spread infection to her bone).
Since then, I hate raccoons. In fact, the incident inspired me to write one of my "lovely poems of death written in under 3 minutes by Tova" that some cult members are familiar with...
Ahem...
"Raccoon" by Tova
Oh, masked marvel how you dash
as you rummage through my trash
raccoon...
Wiry hair so full of fleas,
rabid teeth filled with disease
raccoon...
If not for looks, which get you far
I'd run you over with my car
raccoon...

hehe, great and evil poem Tova! They're cute, adult ones too! I can say that because we don't have them in England...

My vote is cute, they look much more innocent at this age too before they grow up and start causing trouble! :)
