This Week in Horse Art.

 

"...Dear Chris: Hilary here again to share some wonderful pictures.  Do you remember me?  My friend Rachel and I bought matching cat sweaters a while ago and planned to make a CCL band, which is taking a bit longer then expected.  We then made some (very sad looking) cupcakes decorated like dogs. Well I'm sad to say that Rachel was almost two thousand miles away from me in Boston when I had my most recent CWC adventure.  Attached are photos of me with the Mustangs at Las Colinas in Dallas, TX.  I was on my way to Denver, CO with my sister and we went out of our way to see this largest equestrian statue in to world!"

Perhaps they meant the largest equestrian statue by way of the amount of horses? Or that it was the largest equestrian statue in 1984? I just know what I was told.

Great statues! I love the fountains they have at the horses feet to make it look as if they're really galloping. But what I love more is that Hillary is picking that last horse's nose (and her jolly expression), lol.

Las Colinas is in Irving, not Dallas.

And the entire statue is the largest. They may not be the biggest actual horses, but the entire statue is the biggest, comprising of multiple horses.
