The pound couldn't locate his owners even tho he had a microchip, the information was not kept current.  After three weeks in the shelter the No. Calif. Cocker rescue group saved him and a week later he was ours. People need to know they can get purebred dogs from the pound. I was interested in a particular breed and I found them online.
