Anyway, he is supposed to be a border collie, but judging on his size and such, we don't think he is. We like to call him "Inbred Jed" because we got him from a rural farm and he is quite possibly a victim of inbreeding. He has a terrible overbite, he can't keep both ears sticking up at the same time, he is tiny, and all of his legs are different lengths. But he's still a cutie. In this picture, he actually has both ears down ,which is a rarity. Thanks, Ashlee, 17, New Mexico."

Perhaps, like me, you've been watching the highly disturbing new A&E series, OBSESSED. Laura from MONTREAL writes: "...Hi Chris. My cat Minnie has become OBSESSED with birds since the weather got warm. She is an indoor cat but LOVES our balcony. A few weeks ago she managed to jump up, scare a bird into the living room, ricochet off furniture, and catch the bird mid-air. Luckily all I had to do was yell out her name and she dropped the bird right away. She is a ninja...Laura, Montreal, 24teen."

The first is Duffy as a puppy - this picture is from 1987. And the second is of Maggie (his daughter) and is from around 1999. They both died rather tragically while we were on vacation and they were under the care of an Aunt. Now we have two silly miniature poodles because Shelties shed too much.
